Terms of Use

These terms apply when you use Knowledge Commons (curiogan.com, “the site”). Using the site means you accept them.

1. What this site is

An information blog run by one person. There are no accounts, no payments, and no fee to read. Posts are researched and written under the name Curio.

2. Copyright

The posts and the images made for them belong to the site owner. You do not need to ask for any of the following:

  • Quoting a portion with attribution and a link to the original
  • Saving a copy for your own reading or study

Please get in touch first for any of these:

  • Republishing a full post on another site or in another medium
  • Producing an adapted or derivative version
  • Reproducing and distributing the material commercially

Material quoted inside posts, such as legislation, official documentation, and screens or wording from other sites, stays with its own rights holder. It appears here only as attributed quotation.

3. External links

Posts link out to the official pages of the tools and sources they discuss. This site is not responsible for what those sites contain, how they are run, or anything you do or buy there. Check the terms and privacy policy of any site you follow a link to.

4. Advertising

This site carries third-party advertising, including Google AdSense. Cookie use connected to advertising is described in the privacy policy.

Carrying ads does not buy favourable coverage. When a post says a tool is good, or says it falls short, that judgement is independent of any advertising. If a post is ever paid for, it says so inside the post.

5. Accuracy

Posts reflect what was verified at the time of writing. Prices, plans, free-tier limits, and software versions change, so older posts drift out of date. Anything time-sensitive carries the date it was checked, so read that date alongside the claim.

Before making a decision that matters, confirm the details with the provider’s own documentation. The site owner is not liable for outcomes based on what you read here. Nothing here substitutes for professional legal, tax, medical, or financial advice.

If you find an error, report it through the contact page and it gets checked and corrected.

6. What you should not do

  • Automated harvesting, excessive request rates, or scraping that interferes with the site
  • Attempting to reach the server or its administrative areas without permission
  • Using the material in a way that infringes anyone else’s rights

7. Availability

Maintenance, faults, and other circumstances can interrupt access. This is a personally run site, so it may go down without notice.

8. Changes to these terms

If the terms change, this page is updated and the date below changes with it. Revised terms apply from the moment they appear here.

9. Contact

Questions about these terms go to impservice7@gmail.com or the contact page.
